We enjoyed attending the GDR CohereX conference held on the 7th, 8th and 9th of October at the Soleil synchrotron outside Paris. The GDR initiative (Groupement De Recherche) brings together the scientific community in France who work with coherent X-rays at 3rd and 4th generation synchrotron sources. The highlight for kai scientific was the talk by Marie-Ingrid Richard about Bragg Coherent Diffraction Imaging from energy materials where the positive impact that CITIUS had on measurement acquisition time was highlighted. The extremely high dynamic range enabled by CITIUS brings new opportunities to BCDI experiments to image without attenuation.
